LIVING WALLS MAINTENANCE
LIVING WALL MAINTENANCE
Equally as important as the installation of your new living wall is the living wall maintenance and after care. A living wall is a prominent and striking feature so it is important to keep it well maintained and looking good. Just as when a new garden is planted, once a living wall is installed it will need to be maintained in order to ensure that the plants establish well, and over the first year it will need to be monitored in order to make sure that the installation is establishing as expected.
Ongoing living wall maintenance may include inspection of irrigation system, plant replacement and annual feeding. Your Living wall might also need some pruning.
After the first year the need for maintenance of your living wall may be reduced, but it is vital to establish an ongoing maintenance plan to be sure that the living wall will continue to thrive.
